Why it's hard today

The data is public. It's just buried.

The FSO's numbers are some of the best in the world — and then locked behind two systems, four languages and codes nobody can remember.

🔢
Cryptic codes

“px-x-0102020000_104”. Which table was that again?

🗂️
Two systems

STAT-TAB and the new SDMX platform — different IDs, neither talks to the other.

🌍
Four languages

The table you need turns out to be labelled only in German.

How it works

From question to cited answer in seconds.

01

Ask like you'd ask a colleague

Type your question in plain words — French, German, Italian or English. No table codes, no SQL, no portal hunting.

02

We query the FSO, live

Your question is translated into the right STAT-TAB or SDMX call and the numbers are pulled in real time — straight from the source.

03

Get a cited, ready-to-quote answer

The figure, the chart and the context — with a link back to the exact official table so you can verify and cite it.

Why people choose?

Numbers you can actually trust.

Official, not approximate

Every figure comes straight from the FSO — the same numbers the Confederation publishes. No scraping, no guessing.

Answers, not table codes

Forget STAT-TAB IDs and SDMX dataflows. Ask once and get the number, with the chart already drawn for you.

Every answer cited

Each response links back to the exact official table, with licence attribution — solid enough to drop straight into a report.

In your language

Ask and read in French, German, Italian or English. The data stays the same whichever you think in.

Questions & answers

Where does the data come from?+

Primarily the Swiss Federal Statistical Office (OFS / BFS) — population, prices, wages, housing, employment and more — pulled live from its official STAT-TAB and SDMX systems. We also connect MeteoSwiss, the Federal Office for the Environment, swisstopo and public-transport data, and we keep adding sources.

Is it accurate?+

Answers are built directly from the official sources and always cite the exact table they came from, so you can verify every number. Like any AI it can occasionally get something wrong — which is precisely why we always show you the source.

Which languages are supported?+

French, German, Italian and English. Ask in one and read in another if you like — the underlying data is identical.

How much does it cost?+

It's completely free during the beta. We're still settling on pricing for launch — beta usage will help us get it right — and we'll give you plenty of notice before anything changes.

Are you affiliated with the Swiss government?+

No. This is an independent product built on top of Switzerland's published open data. We're not affiliated with the Confederation or the FSO.
